I heard that you can't say 깝치다/깝죽거리다 on broadcast? Why?
Is it a swear word?

깝죽거리다 has been in use but 깝치다 is never used on the television, though 깝치다 is just a incorrect synonym for 깝죽거리다. 깝치다 is not a swear word but because of the rough pronunciation of the word it could be sound abusive to anyone even if your friend. 나대다 is the most similar word to 깝치다. People use 나대다 as a slang (but not actual slang) for 깝죽거리다. It's often used on the TV shows.
