Can "tal vez" and "quiza/s" be used interchangeably or does each have a specific usage? Gracias!

hola, soy hispano hablante nativo, te puedo decir que ambas palabras son SINONIMOS, es decir pueden reemplazarse en la mayoria de casos, ambas denotan una probabilidad de que suceda un hecho, ejemplo:
-quizás mañana vaya al mercado
-tal vez mañana vaya al mercado
ambas oraciones son CORRECTAS
Saludos

Hey Robbie, having studied Spanish for a long time now, i can tell you that more often than not I hear Tal Vez, this is simply because in america the only dialect i hear is Mexican or Puerto Rican,
I know that often in Castillian Spanish, they use Quizas, which yes, they are both adverbs and can be used interchangeably with same meanings

Thank you for that information, Jan.

Here in Puerto Rico we utilize "Quizas" more than we do "Tal vez" but they are the same thing.
