This is a good exercise to do, Maqui, because these are the three most important cases of where there is a clear difference in meaning between the gerund and infinitive forms. Your definitions aren't perfect: for example it doesn't necessarily have to be your responsibility (NB spelling) in 2 and 4, and the 'stop' in 5 and 6 can be temporary (ie you haven't necessarily 'finished' what you were doing). However, these are trivial points. The main thing is that I think that you have got these distinctions exactly right. These are differences that many native speakers would have difficulty putting into words. You've really understood some subtle points here. Well done!
