How do you say "vet nurse" (vet tech) in 日本語?

A vet nurse is called a 動物看護師, and is acknowledged as 動物看護 or 動物看護学 as a study subject. However, unlike in the U.S., or in NZ maybe, there is no legal license for the job in Japan but just only for a veterinarian and veterinary science.
