"Je suis allé" or "Je me suis allé"?
When saying "I went" in French, would I use "Je suis allé" or "Je me suis allé"? Are they both correct? If so, when would I use which one?
For example, would I say "Je suis allé au Canada" or "Je me suis allé au Canada"?

Je suis allé.
"aller" is not a reflexive verb.

Maybe you're thinking of "s'en aller" (= partir). That would be "Je m'en suis allé".
