How to use the verb act? How to use the verb act?Could I say "act the princess" or "act as the princess"? Is there any differences? Could I say "we act the paly"?

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/act No, seriously. To answer your questions quickly, use "act the princess" (you'll see the reason in the link I posted) and "act out the play".
