How would you say "I like to eat good food" in German? Ich mag essen...das essen?

Warning - I am not a native German speaker, but in case you need a quick answer, I'd say simply "Ich mag gutes Essen" (i.e. "I like good food" with the "to eat" implied) and I'm pretty sure that's correct. I think trying to use "essen" as the verb and the object in the same sentence would sound very strange.

"Ich mag gutes Essen" passt. "Ich esse gerne gut" passt auch.
