how's that sound?
Hi. Just noticed in the book the phrase "How's that sound"?
The whole sentence is: Sure, I said. As soon as you're done eating, I`ll give you a tour of Rock River. How's that sound?"
Shouldn't it be "How does that sound?" ?

For most forms of the verb "To be", they can be contracted. "How does that sound?" is correct, and they are interchangeable, but "How's that sound?" is a more common phrase in spoken English.
