intension vs intention What's the difference between pronunciations of the words "intension" and "intention"?

The pronunciation is the same. The suffixes '...sion' and '....tion' are both pronounced 'shun'. By the way, I had to look in the dictionary to check the meaning of the 'intension' - it's a pretty unusual word.

The pronunciation will be exactly the same, as will "-sion" and "-tion." I don't think intension is a word that people use in everyday conversation. Hope this helped
