É uma maneira de dizer que a pessoa é atraente, bonita.
Gata (feminino) ou gato (masculino). Existem algumas variações, como gatona (aumentativo) ou gatinha (diminutivo) mas no fim todas significam o mesmo.

It means that the girl is beautiful, attractive.
The two ways mean the same thing, but in my opinion, say "gata" is better!
But say "gatona" is like "very beautiful"

Gata means that you're cute and Gatona means you're very very cute.
Gostosa ou deliciosa means freaking hot.

gata (bonita) - una mujer guapa , gatona -una mujer muy guapa, gato (bonito) um hombre -guapo , gatão - um hombre muy guapo.
