how to say 'flattery' and 'compliment' in Arabic?
For example:
1) He gave her a compliment about her hair
2) In reality, it was just flattery, because he didn't think so
3) He was flattering her making compliments about her looks.
4) She was flattered by his words

flattery نفاق - تملق
usually gives not good meaning for the person who do that.
compliment مجاملة - إطراء
1) He gave her a compliment about her hair
1) هو جاملها عن شعرها
2) In reality, it was just flattery, because he didn't think so
2) في الواقع، كان مجرد نفاق، لأنه لا يعتقد ذلك
3) He was flattering her making compliments about her looks.
3) هو كان يتملق لها عبر مجاملتها حول مظهرها.
4) She was flattered by his words
4) هي أُعْجِبت (أو- أُغرِيت) بكلامه
