Let's write it correctly before we discuss the subject (perhaps on Notebook): "Being a team PLAYER is more important than BEING a brilliantly creative person." Regarding this interesting question, the two qualities are not mutually exclusive. One can be brilliantly creative and still behave as a good team player.
