What does 돼 mean? And 서 ending.
What does 돼 mean? I hear it quite often in songs and dramas and I can't find anywhere what it means or how to use it. And also when do I use 아/어/에 서 at the end of sentences? Thanks!!

~돼 is usually used for giving or asking permission
examples;
자면 안돼
you shouldn't sleep
너희 집에 가도 돼?
can I go to your place?
아 and 어 are the most common letters used at the end of the sentences when speaking with the informal form
examples;
괜찮아
That's ok
울었어?
Did you cry?
에 usually comes after a place or time
examples;
학교에
To school
밤에?
At night?
10월에?
On October?
서 is for confirming certain information
유학간다면서?
I heard you're studying abroad?
아팠다면서?
I heard you were sick?

'돼'는 '되어'의 줄임말 입니다.
가장 자주 쓰이는 돼는 안돼에서 사용되는 돼라고 할 수 있습니다.
'안되는'과 같이 '되어'가 성립할 수 없는 말에는 '돼'가 쓰일 수 없지만 다수의 '되'는 '되어'로 이어지기 때문에 '돼'가 자주 사용 됩니다.
아나 어는 반말에서 자주 사용 되는 끝말입니다.
에나 서는 장소나 시기 또는 이유 등을 이야기할 때 사용 되고는 합니다.
