1- Nagbigay ang kapatid ko ng pera sa akin. (to me)
2- Ibinigay ng kapatid ko ng pera sa akin. (to m)

1- Nagbigay ang kapatid ko ng pera sa akin. (to me) = My sibling gave me money.
2- Ibinigay ng kapatid ko ANG pera sa akin. (to me) = The money was given to me by my sibling.
The difference between them is similar to that between the active and passive voices. In the second sentence though, the money being referred to may be a known amount or might have come from an identifiable source, as may similarly be inferred from its English translation.
