hoping to hear
Is it right to say " hoping to hear from you " as a letter end ?
I know it is " looking forward to " but i wondered if that sentence was also possible .
Thank you

Yes, it is correct. However, if this is at the end of a business letter, then it is preferable to use "looking forward to...". It has a stronger connotation and not passive like "hope to...".
