대다 when used as a form of "~에 대고, ~에다 대고, ~에게 대고"
means "어떤 것을 목표로 삼거나 향하다." "towards, aim for"
ex)
그녀가 내 귀에 대고 속삭였다
She whispered in my ear.
마이크에 대고 말하세요
Speak into the microphone, please.
"잘 안 들려요"라고 나는 전화기에 대고 외쳤다
"I can't hear you," I yelled into the phone.
