What is the meaning of the word drill?
Can I understand DRILL as practice? For exemple, I'm drilling my English (I'm practicing my English)?

Example: His teacher drills him daily in the correct use of prepositions.
2. To drill means to instruct (someone) in something by means of repeated exercises or practice.

1. training or exercise most commonly performed in military settings. Ex: The students had to perform 25 breast-stroke drills in the pool.
2.power tool used for making holes
3. to produce a whole in something by using a drill. Ex: she drilled a hole through the wall.
