confusing.....
They slept soundly, so they slept ____.
A. noisily B. fast. C. deeply D. good
I'm confusing between C and D.....

'deeply' means they had a very deep, good, sleep. i.e. it wasn't disturbed and they slept well.
D. should be 'well', as we say "I slept well." or "I had a good sleep." However, normally, we say the first one.
