What's the difference of 'Sect' and 'Faction'?
I am looking for a word in English to express a group of people using Martial Art in their own way, then I found these 2 words but confused which one is better.
Thank you so much

In nearly all cases, "sect" will refer to religion (ie. different sects of Christianity). When it doesn't refer to religion it is typically used for a very extreme, radical philosophical domination of some sort.
Faction is likely the word you are looking for, referring to a smaller group within a larger group with different views.
Hope that helped!
