How describe a mountain?
For example,
In China HuaShan is rugged, because it is very difficult to climb up.
HuangShan is magnificent, because the scenaries are very beautiful.
Besides, it's known that volcano is dangerous.
Anything else?
Please give me more examples on how to describe a mountain. Please tell me why you choose that word for that mountain. Thanks in advance.

You could say majestic, because a mountain is so large that it it reigns out over other world landmarks like 'landmark royalty'.
