what does 'fruity' mean?
I know the literal meaning, which is 'taste or smell like fruit', but what does fruity mean when used for a more abstract meaning, more than just taste or smell?

2. mellow - [voice, tone]
3. salacious - [joke, story]

It can also mean smelly as in 'your socks smell a bit fruity today'.

Depends on the context, but it can mean or suggest being cheeky or suggestive about sexwhen used to describe something someone has said. For example:
A. I'd like to tickle your tummy, darling'
B. Ooh, that's a bit fruity, we're not even dating each other!
