What's the difference between "ca" and "ce"?

Ce means 'this' .
Ce livre .. this book
C’est une jolie maison this is a nice house
ça means 'that' and could mean 'it'
Aimez-vous ça? Do you like that
Comment ça va?
Literally means ' how is IT ' but means ' how are you ?"

Also, "ce" goes before a noun. "ça" is a pronoun, it remplaces a noun.
