않다 is a short form of "아니하다" It always used as "~지 않다" after a verb or adjective and it means "not" ex) 먹다(eat) => 먹지 않다(don't eat) 조용하다(silent) => 조용하지 않다(not silent) 없다 is antonym of 있다. It means "not exist, not have" ex) 재미있다(interesting) => 재미없다(uninteresting) 그는 지금 한국에 있다 He is in Korea right now. 그는 지금 한국에 없다 He is not in Korea right now. 할 일이 있다 I have something to do. 할 일이 없다 I have nothing to do. 있지 않다 = 없다 없지 않다 = 있다.
