ELL Riddle of the day: What do you call a witch at the beach? I think I will start posting riddles for my ELL (English Language Learners) a few times a week. If you don't know what a riddle is, it is: a question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game. Here is one example of a riddle: You may have to study your measuring units to recognize the joke. Q: Why can't a nose be 12 inches? A: Because then it would be a foot. So todays riddle is: What do you call a witch at the beach? Rule: No google! Think about this ???? I will post the answer later. Cheers!
