Could you explain the difference between the two forms of odpovedať?
I mean odpovedám vs. odpoviem. Does it matter which one I use?

Odpovedám means you are doing it right now. Odpoviem means I am gonna do it

I would say "odpovedám" when I am doing it right now, and "odpoviem" when I will do it later - for example today I get a message but I will answer it tomorrow
