How do you tell someone you think they're a good friend in Japanese?
I recently made friends with a man who lives in Japan, we get along very well and I would like to express to him that I think he's a great friend! How would I tell him this?

I would say: いつもいろいろありがとう(ございます)。 (name of the person)さんは本当にいい友だちです / すばらしい友だちです / 大切な友だちですです。
