How do I introduce myself to other people in Japanese?

A basic greeting would look something like this: はじめまして!わたしのなまえは(サオル)です。
Romaji: hajimemashite! watashinonamaewa saoru desu.
It kind of translates to "Hello this is our first time meeting! My name is Saul."

I'm not sure the correct pronounciation of your name, is "au" of Saul is the same as "au" of "Paul", isn't it? If so, I would say: こんにちは。はじめまして。わたしのなまえはソールです。(よろしくおねがいします。)
