Le tien vs le votre
I found this question:
Mon anniversaire est le 17 mai et le VOTRE?
My question is, can I replace votre for TIEN?
Votre is more formal, right? Or what's the difference btw these words?

As you say "votre" is more formal used when you're speaking to someone you don't know, your boss...like the "usted" in Spanish.
"Tien" would be used in a more informal context, as you would use "tú" in Spanish :)
