Pronunciation What's the difference of the pronunciation between the words 'accept' and 'excecpt'? Because the phonect symbol is the same for both : /iks´ept/. Thanks

Honestly, there is not a huge difference between these words when they are spoken aloud. They almost sound exactly the same and most Americans will pronounce them the same. But generally, Accept will have a more 'Ah' sound in the beginning and Except will have a more 'Eh' sound in the beginning. But still not very noticeable.
