Unfortunately, 失恋 doesn´t mean "to be unlucky in love". 失恋 means to "fall out of love"
However in english, "i just got dumped(我刚被甩了)" or "i just broke up with my boyfriend/girlfriend(我刚和我的男友/女友分手。)"are used more commonly, but essentially they mean the same thing.
In other words, "我失恋了" = i got dumped/i broke up with my boyfriend/girlfriend
Hope this helps, 希望这解释对你有帮助。
