甚至 even
即使 even if;even though;
He kept calling me for years, even after he got married. 多年来他一直打电话给我,甚至是在他结婚以后。
She left without so much as saying “good-bye”. 她甚至连 “再见”都没说就走了。
Even if the weather's awful there's lots to do. 即使天气很差,也还有好多事情可做。
I wouldn't lose courage even if I should fail ten times. 即使要失败十次,我也绝不灰心.

即使:even though, it has disjunctive meaning. ex:He will come on time even though it rains.
甚至:even,it use to emphasize sth. ex: Even I open airconditioner, I still feel too hot to sleep.
