Is it ok to mix formal & informal speech in one conversation?
I'm putting together an video of me speaking with my current level of knowledge, and was wondering if conversations had to be either formal or informal the whole time? would I have to stick to formal or informal or could I switch between them?

I think it's totally fine mixing them together. Usually, in a formal setting, this would not be the case. But since you are trying to reach out to an audience, you also need informal to make connections. That's why a mix would be better.
