¿Qué significa tener caso? Creo que tener caso significa más o menos tener sentido Por ejemplo… no tiene caso estudiar la biología si quieres ser chef ¿Tengo razón?Se usa solamente en mexico?

Yesh, y cuando dices que algo no tiene caso es que no vale la pena o es algo necesario.

Como dice David, en España se usa poco (yo si lo he oído) pero se entiende. Se usa más "no tiene sentido" o "no viene al caso" aunque esta última expresión difiere un poco en su significado.
