***What is the difference between mix, mix-up & mixture?***
It depends on how they are used (e.g. as a verb or a noun).
Mix and mix-up can be used similarly as verbs. However, mix-up can also mean 'confusion | mess up | misunderstanding'. Mixture is what you get after you 'mix' or 'mix-up' something (it is the final product).
