What's the difference between Analytics and analysis? What's the difference between Analytics and analysis? Thanks in advance.

To me, Analytics is the name of a 'science', or discipline. Analysis is the more general verb to describe distilling information. So - Analytics usually consists of doing analysis, but not all analysis is Analytics. A similar analogy would be that Mathematics is a science, but calculation is a process that you do.
