when I use "like" and "like to" ?

You use "like" alone when referring to a thing.
I like pizza.
I like cats.
I like music.
You use "like to" when referring to actions.
I like to eat.
I like to pet my cat.
I like to listen to music.

Tal y como Amicus Rose te lo dijo, vas a decir "like" con los sustantivos:
I like pizza - Me gusta pizza
I like sport - Me gusta deporte
I like movies - Me gustan peliculas
"I like to" se usa con los verbos
I like to eat - Me gusta comer
I like to swim - Me gusta nadar
I like to dance - Me gusta bailar
etc
