En la actualidad estoy aprendiendo español.
Por el momento estoy aprendiendo español.

Hi there, you mustn´t say "gracias mucho".... that's wrong. 
To give thanks  you have to say "Muchas gracias".... but don´t give up and keep training.

When you want to say: "Thank you so much" you should say "Muchas gracias" or "Muchisimas gracias"
