Frisst vs Isst
The resource I was using to learn German taught me that "isst" is how to say "is eating." However, the same resource is now telling me "frisst" is the correct way. Can someone please tell me how to say "eat" in German?

I am no native speaker, and still a beginner at german. However, what I have learnt is that 'frisst' is more applicable to animals or very greedy/fast eating people. So:
Ein Bär frisst eine Ente.
Whereas 'isst and 'essen' relate to people eating:
Er isst einen Apfel
Sie ist einen Apfel essen
