Buenos días,
Las palabras monosílabas son las que solo tienen una sílaba, por ejemplo "yo" "el" "tu" "te" "sal" "sol" "bien".
Las palabras aguas son las que llevan el acento en la primera sílaba de la palabra, empezando por la derecha. Por ejemplo: "camión", "papel", "canción", "cantar", "cantó". Se le pone tilde a la vocal cuando terminan en "n", "s", o "vocal".

a "monosìlabo" is one syllable word e.g. "dar" "ver" "sol" "pan"
a "palabra aguda" is word accented on the last syllable. This syllable could have a tilde on or not.
With tilde: "panteón" "maratón" "sandía"
Without tilde: "ron" "color"
All the monosyllables words are "palabras agudas"
