intricate vs. complicated
Could you explain the difference between intricate and complicated?
With examples. Thank you!

The words are synonyms (They have the same meaning) of each other. However, I would say complicated is more for describing things which are difficult, and intricate is more for things which are detailed. For example:
Finding the answer to this question is very complicated, as there are many steps.
The dress she made looked amazing because the design was very intricate.
