How it's called the amount of money that a person can use with a credit card ?
in Spanish is called "CUPO de la tarjeta de credito", when I translate the word "cupo" means "quota", "quota" in spanish means "cuota", "cuota" it's a part of a payment, e.g. when you use a credit card you can pay the article that you buy in 12 ,24, 36 quota. this is my confusion, in Spanish the word quota is used to name one of many payment, that's why I don't want to use the word quota in the menu options, is there a different word that I can use?.

The "cupo de la tajeta de credito" is called a "credit limit". It's the most you can spend in total using the card. That is, the maximum balance you can have outstanding, or owed.

This is not really your question , but if there is a finite amount on a debit card or in a checking account it is called a balance.
I had $100 on this debit card and I spent $25 on dinner, so the balance is $75. Then I added $10 to my debit card so now the balance is $85.
