What is the correct usage of the word "employ" when it means "use"? I consulted "employ" from dictionaries,but I can't find how to use it exactly correct.Can you tell me how to use it precisely?Thanking you!

Hello I agree with Dana. I think that "employ" is more of an academic term that you will find in textbooks, and official documents. For example: Company XYZ employs the following strategies and elements.... Aida N.

Employ can be used the same way as "use" when it comes to an object. "I need to see the stars, i will employ my telescope to view them."
