What does this word "委屈" mean?
Hi,
The word 委屈 in for example 我很委屈. I found in the dictionary that "委屈" means: to feel wronged; to cause somebody to feel wronged; grievance.
But I see it in situations that it doesn't not look like treated unjustly, but more like someone felt down, maybe.
Could you please explain it in a simple way.
Thanks.

“委屈”Actually is to express personal feelings, when do you think what you do is right, but others think you're doing something wrong and blame you, in this case, because you are not wrong, but will also feel depressed, so you would say "我很委屈".

If you are down but you didn't do something wrong, or you did but you didn't intend to, it means life treat you unjustly, so you can feel 委屈。
When someone is in a bad situation caused by himself, he shouldn't be 委屈. If he does, the others can blame him, "你有什么好委屈的?”

委屈=feel wronged
for example::someone commented you because of something(those things are totally misunderstood or bias but you did it totally right)
then you will feel wronged(委屈)
