what does homie mean in different situations?
my foreign friend took a short video the other day with me and i wasn't concentrated at that time but i heard that he introduced me to his other friends as "homie"and i saw a video on Facebook said "when your wife is one of your homies"and the couple was greeting with each other on the wedding in a super cool way...okay back to my question,homies mean very good friends and people of one kind?

"Homie" is English slag for good friend, or someone you care about.

"Homie" I have heard as "people like me or where one grew up" as in "my homies and I roll (you might not be great friends with all but you guys are part of the sae group".
Sometimes people will use to act like movie characters usually black kids saying homie or just not white people.
