help me with this part of text
que significa esta frase please:''The worst thing was when we kept having to shoot a scene again and again''..sobretodo la frase que dice: we KEPT HAVING TO SHOOT. KEPT esta en pasado y luego le sigue un gerundio HAVING como es eso posible me pregunto humildemente. Pienso que HAVING TO SHOOT=HAVE TO SHOOT(con el significado de TENER QUE pero en gerundio_ING y no de TENER DE POSEER ) y WE KEPT=nosotros mantuvimos(KEPT en past simple) entonces mi traduccion seria: ''The worst thing was when we kept having to shoot a scene again and again''=La peor cosa fue cuando nosotros NOS MANTUVIMOS TENIENDO QUE HACER UNA ESCENA OTRA VEZ Y OTRA VEZ. .. que piensan cuentenmelo todo y exageren si asi lo desean? :-)

we kept having to shoot - Hemos tenido que seguir filmando
Lo peor de todo era que nosotros hemos tenido que seguir filmando una escena repetidas veces
We kept doing something = We continued doing something - that's the meaning
So, we kept shooting a scene = We continued to shoot a scene
we kept having to shoot a scene = We continued to have to shoot a scene
we kept having to shoot a scene again and again = We continued to have to shoot a scene repeatedly
