I will call you, come sì dice? Hi guys. 1) To say "I will call you later" is it right to say "ti chiamo a dopo"? Or..would it be necessary to use the future tense "ti chiamerò a dopo"? 2) are there other frases that are not necessarily in line with English word for word while talking on the telephone or the surrounding subject?

Usually we say: /ti chiamo piu` tardi/ /dopo/ is intended to be used when there is a specification, like: - ti chiamo dopo cena. - ti chiamiamo dopo che Giovanni e` arrivato.

Hi Juha, it's actually easier: "Ti chiamo dopo" you don't need to use the future tense. you may find useful the following link: https://it.speaklanguages.com/inglese/frasi/usare-il-telefono Ciao marco
