Japanese Grammar どこへいったんですが。before のですか should use ことわにしても体を使う, right? So how to understand the いったhere? past tense?

行く的过去式，因为是五段动词，所以有促音っ，所以普通的说法就是行った！比较礼貌体就是行きました
