What does the quotation mean at the beginning of 'the fall of the house of Usher' by Poe mean? I have a question concerning the beginning of the short story. There you can find the quotation 'Son coeur est un luth suspendu; Sitôt qu'on le touche il résonne.' by de Beranger. Any explanation, translation in either english, french or german would be awesome! thanks in advance!!
