What does "God is good as dead." mean ?
I saw Batman v Superman the other day and Lex Luthor says "Now God is good as dead." I'd understood if this was "God is as good as dead." though. Could anyone tell me what this means?

Economy of language. You are right, "as good as dead" is correct, but we don't speak correctly!
