If we as a student arrive to a class late, which ones are the right sentences to say to the teacher?
A) Sorry, I'm late.
B) Sorry for I'm late.
C) Sorry for being late.
D) Sorry for my lateness.
Or etc.

A) Sorry, I'm late. (okay)
B) Sorry for I'm late. (No. Bad grammar. "For" is a preposition and needs a noun.)
C) Sorry for being late. (okay)
D) Sorry for my lateness. (Grammatically correct, but we wouldn't normally say this. It's okay to say though. Use A, C.)
